Asus Xonar DX (PCIe)

Hey guys,

I finally decided to get myself a sound card, it's nothing too fancy or expensive but I'm hoping it'll at least be better than my onboard audio (soundmax) for gaming and music etc.

Sorry to break ranks, but I didn't buy it from OcUK as I found it for £13 cheaper and with free shipping elsewhere.

Anyway, I basically have zero experience with sound cards so I was wondering if anyone else has one of these cards and if it's any good?

Any advice regarding installation...and which drivers, utilities or patches I should download (for Win XP Home 32) would be a great help as I'd like the installation to go as smooth as possible (when it arrives)

After you've popped the card in and booted up, you'll probably get the Found New Hardware Wizard, so just cancel that and install the drivers above Bledd Linked to, and thats a good choice of card, cracking sound cards the Xonars, got a DX here to.
