Asus Xonar Essence ST & STX & Windows 7 x64

After some research, it seems the better version to get is the ST (PCI) version.

User experiences of the ST in Windows 7 x64 any good?

Asus driver support appears somewhat vague though as the only Windows 7 drivers they have listed for it on their site is still RTM beta drivers?

Does these drivers for Windows 7 include full functionality of the hardware?

Well I am surprised there is no full drivers by now, or final release I should say. I have the Xonar DS, which is the cheapest of the lot. I got it when Win7 was still in RTM, I went to their site, and they had beta RC drivers, but stated the drivers would not work with RTM. It was a new install of W7, so I thought bugger it and installed them, if it didn't work no bother. But it did, they worked fine, all functions, no hassle.

I know the ST/STX drivers are different, but same might apply to those too, if Asus has any sense.

I have the STX running W7 x64 with the asus drivers and have absolutely no issues whatsoever
