Have a weird problem with the USB ports on new build keep cutting out.

This happens even in the UEFI bios the mouse will work then stop then that port will not work again. I have to unplug the mouse and use a different port. This happens on USB3 and USB2 ports aswell as any case USB ports plugged into the internal headers.

The time it takes to cut out changes. It has happened during the bios, during windows install and during windows once installed.

I thought the board was duff so RMA'd it but the same thing is happening on the new board

I have tried one stick of ram in each slot and changing the ram, putting the GFX card in a different PCIe slot and removing the HDD and Optical drive to no avail.

anyone got any ideas?

yes same result with any USB device tried keyborad and a headset once i got windows installed.

have tried different USB3 drivers within windows

i sort of had the same problem untill i broke my mouse and brought a new one
am thinking it could be your mouse and other bits are not usb 3 compactable
try using usb2 ports? have you update your bios? how many sticks of ram you using?how much ram you got?
i don't think its got anything to do with the GFX card in a different PCIe slot and removing the HDD and Optical drive to no avail.

Well if it happens in the BIOS it's definitely some sort of hardware fault or incompatiblity, have you tried flashing the latest BIOS?

Is it possible the place you RMA'd it to have pulled a fast one and sent you the same board straight back unfixed?

Have replaced everything apart from the cpu and mobo really weird. The place i bought it from did a courier swap! He brought a new one i gave him old one. Defo a new part.
