Hi guys i have a 4870X2 and im looking to buy the 6990 but im unsure because will i see a increase in performance? aswell as run games in high-ultra at 1920x 1200 resolution?

Give the guy a break, hes not done much trolling for an account created in February.
OT, yeah you will see massive jump in performance from an X2, make sure you have a decent CPU to feed it.

This but before you buy read the reviews a lot of them have said the cooler is not upto the job so buying an aftermarket cooler is a must, Some complaining of micro stutter such as TTL.
