**ATI RADEON 7800 SERIES NOW AVAILABLE!!**

I need to be patient. Want to go green this time, waioting on the 670's to appear.

Adaptive vsynch sounds like it was made for my monitor, suffer from tearing quite a lot.

Hi everyone,

All this thread, and others about the 78xx series, are only making my decision on my next GPU all the more difficult

I'm torn between the 7850 and 570 at the moment.

I know that with OC'ing the 7850 can surpass the 570, but the 570 OC's as well.

I'd really like to see some performance comparisons between a max OC 570 vs a max OC 7850.

And then to add to my confusion even more, there are the mid-range kepler cards to come out soon.

Oh, the hardships of choice....

I'm with you on this. I think though that the choice will become more difficult. I reckon the 670/60 will beat the 7850/70, but AMD will adjust prices accordingly!

I would like to go green as well this time round, looking to upgrade from my 5850. I do like AMD for price/performance, but Nvidia just seems so much more robust, with a richer feature set as well and better support.

The choice is easy, get the 7850. The 570 cannot overclock as much and is limited by its RAM. If it were a choice between crossfire and SLI, then it would be difficult, but single GPU wise, it's a no brainer.

I think I'll get one of these come pay-day on the 28th and add another for crossfire later on. Do you think a 650W Antec TruePower Modular PSU will do the job of powering two of these? Cheers.
