ATI Radeon X1900 GT slips out early

Seen some posts about this card over at XS but you can't really judge the performance with what has been posted so far. The guy with the x1900 GT has a really bad motherboard which is seriously reducing the performance, the CPU is also a killer.

Surely there must be some sort of a comparitive wow factor?
 
I'd be interested to see how much this will retail for. I have a 1900xt, but if its quite cheap, it could be very useful for crossfiring later on, when they do away with the need for master cards, especially if they clock well like the original gtos, or the locked pixel shaders can be unlock. Unless it would cut 256MB off of my 1900xt lol


If it was cheap, say £150, performed really well, and lots of em unlock to x1900xt speeds, or simply isnt too far off 1900xt speeds it could be a clear winner.

Ohh interesting, thanks for the post. I'm thinking of upgrading my X850XT PE soon for a new card and this looks verrryyy interesting. Will my A64 3800+ bottleneck it? I hope my VF900 would be compatible as well.
