ATi SAPPHIRE X1900XT BOX?

My sapphire x1800 box is like that in the pic. :)

Is it a proper Sapphire box, does your card work, look brand new etc..., if yes then does the size of the box really matter, are you going to RMA it and say to them 'oh yeah the card is working fine, but the box is to small'. :D

'Can you please put this card in another box, like the one in this pic, and re-send it to me'. :D

strange isnt it

if u look at the sapphire bar code does it say "x1900xt 512m gddr3 pci-e dual dvi-i / vivo (rohs) Lite".


anyone confirm if they have this or a larger box like the pic?
 
the sapphire x850xt i got was in a big box and i was expecing a larger one as well, anyone got a pic of this box, i'll take mine but no camera i,m afraid
 
Hi there

Sapphire have to retail varients.

A Lite Retail and a Full Retail. Lite is a more sensible box size whereas the full is a much larger box. Also sometimes the full has more software.

Sapphire are now only shipping Lite versions I believe as afterall with X1800/X1900's now been so cheap they gotta cut back on cost somewhere and guess the packaging and software bundle is a good place to start. :)

Our stock is mixed, so we don't state a version. Most of them are Lite however, in regards to software expect nothing except for the drivers. At these kinda prices you can't expect anything as the manufacturers are giving the cards away as it is anyway. :)
 
i heard that all good things come in small packages - so count yourself lucky.

Not sure all the girls agree with this though, so just keep it hidden from you girlfriend eh ;)
