ATI X1950 Pro Cooler

I currently have a ATI X800 SE with an Arctic Cooler Silencer 5... and I am thinking of buying a ATI X1950 Pro... what is the Artic Cooler Silencer version for that card?

Iv got one in my rig and yes, its very quiet and does a pretty good job of cooling.

Depends which cards you get.

Some manufactures have good cooling, others dont.

Mostly they use the same reference cooling in which case it is likely that its quite till the core reaches 70 and then the fan picks up speed and is quite a lot noiser.

Basically check what cooler it has.

The Powercolor Pro I have comes with the artic cooling heatsink+fan which is very quiet even at 100%.

I had an HIS X1950 pro and couldnt hear fan after hours of gameplay, I heard a few of the early rev. had a rattling fan prob but was cured in the later rev. of the card.

I replaced my Sapphire's stock fan with a zalman VF900 'cos I was peeved with the noise and I'm not that fussy. Generally it'll run cooler with a 3rd party solution

I've got a powercolour x1950xt that came pre-fitted with an arctic cooling x2 and I've actually yet to hear it even after a fairly long gaming session.
