ATI X800GT currently, changing to 7800GT, best way to do this?

I've currently got an X800GT and will be installing a 7800GT to replace it. Is there a guide to make this as painfree as possible? Is it basically a case of uninstalling the ATI drivers, removing the ATI card, putting the Nvidia card in, rebooting and installing the nvidia drivers? I get the feeling it's not that straightforward!
