A while back me & the GF bought Sone's Mondeo 2.0 Ghia from him for the bargain price of £350 (inc 6 mths tax!)
It had a short MOT (Feb 9th) and obviously, for the price, I was expecting quite a bit wrong.
Well, it failed on a wheel bearing, TCA, Front brakes (pads & discs) and a leaking fuel line.
The GF took it to the local spanner monkeys and they sorted it for £330 inc the MOT.
In short, a Mondeo Ghia W reg, 170k with 12mths MOT for the grand total of £680!
Probably not the best price from the garage (most of it was labour tbh) but, given the end result, were well happy mate.
Sone, I've said it before, but will say it again, nice one mate, she's got a great car for the money and is still well chuffed with it.
Meanwhile, my £1k T reg Mondeo TD has developed a water leak!
