That's a bit harsh, sure then engine is pants but at the end of the day it's not exactly the worst hatchback to be sat in.

I firmly believe that if you are going to have a noisy smelly little slug, it should be an auto!

And red is a winner so in years to come it can go a nice dull flat orange colour

I read the bit in the post I quoted about how he said it 'isnt as bad as you'd think' and was only 'pretty rubbish', yes.

The thing I keep forgetting with an auto is the big pedal isn't the clutch! I must have smashed my teeth on the steering wheel a dozen times as I kept dipping the non existent clutch in preparation for selecting the next gear. DOH!
