Wouldnt bother with wicked if i were u mate, unless ** not going for maybe more than a month, or to lazy to buy one yourself.
Me and my mate noticed that in sydney around the start of summer, after new year, lots of campervans are up for sale at around 3000$, which is very over priced, considering their age.
If you rent a car, for about 30$ a day, drive 100miles out of sydney, get yourself on australia autotrader, you can do the same as we did.
Picked up a 6 seater camper style van (toyota torrago, 1full years rego.) for 2000 dollars, drove the whole east coast, without a fault. Sold it to travellers 7 months later for 2500, which they thought was a bargain.
At one point we nearly started to do this to make money.
(This is all depending on your knowledge of motors)
One recommedation i will make which i think is one of the most important for convience, and makes your life easier.
- A suitcase, or a suitcase style bag (one that opens in a cirlce around the bag, not just at the top) I had one that only opened at the top and its so annoying to keep your stuff clean, uncreased, or finding any of it. I never once put it on my back, it went from van to room, or room to bus.
Music, lots of it.
Books, ones that you,ve wanted to read, you have a lot of time.
Camera - first most important thing.
A diary - one to remember what you did, and too write down emails, and how much your spending, keeping track of money is most important.
Cant think of anything i really wanted that i forgot, could buy most of it there.
