Australian Grand Prix 2012, Albert Park Circuit - Race 1/20

you know how michael crashed and went to the trouble of not letting anyone get around the rear of the car.........

GOOD JOB NICO YOU BLOODY MORON!

theres over a dozen close ups of the rear wing , the diffuser the backs of the sidepods etc posted on another forum

He was clearly told on the radio to park the car, and the track was open.

everyone's been on about the merc rear wing...it's been pronounced as legal too today!

To be fair Charlie Whiting said it was legal before the race last weekend:)

(although it looks like it was just made "official" today)

It would be interesting to know how much % increase it does actually give compared to the cost (ive seen one set of figures from Gary Anderson, but it would be interesting to see a few more samples just to get a more balanced idea)

For the approximate cost /performance from GA, Im sure teams can come up with just as /more effective upgrades without redisigning all the chassis panelling etc

The car only has to he legal come Friday practice, and that's also the first time any team can make an official complaint or protest or request for clarification from the FIA. So what Charlie said before was unofficial until the rules actually came into force in Australia and the teams can officially seek clarification, and Charlie has now given the official answer.

So its officially official that its officially legal. Surely that's means it will be banned by Spain :D

who bets macca will copy it first? RB will have no room for anything extra because Newey makes everything so precise....and Ferrari will try and fail to get it working, or it will only benefit Fred
