Whats the betting on Murray losing to Ferrer tomorrow now? If Djokovic wins it'd have the best chance Murrays going to get to break his duck. Fed in GS finals probably gives him nightmares

Look Daver Djokovic has improved so much in the last year and his attacking game as it is right now is really hard for anyone to live with.

Yes I would feel better about Andy playing him in the final as it is actually a good matchup for his game but he needs to beat Ferrer first.

Ferrer leads 3-2 on head to head however Ferrer's wins are on Clay, Murray's on Hard courts

Murray I suspect will see it through in 3 sets on the day as he simply had a blip yesterday but just because he may possibly have Novak in the final doesn't make things necassarily easier if he can repeat the performance he's putting in today.

Also if Murray was to win and avoid Nadal and Fed in the process then que everyone lining up to say he didn't beat the best players to do so

Game over for Fed, he's not playing at all well. I can't see Murray losing to Ferrer, he's playing such good tennis at the moment. The final will be awesome if it's Murray vs Djokovic!

Crucial break for Fed, would have been effectively match point otherwise. Fed is good at digging deep but this may be asking too much.

And they can all take that attitude and stick it frankly. It's by no means a foregone conclusion that Murray will beat Ferrer and then Djokovic if he gets to the final but you can only beat the people in front of you - that's what winning titles is all about, sure it's nice to be able to say that you beat the best but in any given tournament that's what you are doing since you play the conquerer of the other player until one alone is the winner. To win the Australian Open he'd have to beat the man who beat Nadal and the man who beat Federer - for whatever reason those players were better than the 'best' in this particular tournament.

Here's hoping for a good game with Murray - Ferrer and for Murray to progress to the final.
