Well Barty breezed through easily enough. Surprised it took 54 mins though for a 6-0, 6-1 victory. I've seen one sided sets over as little as 12 mins before. Though mainly on grass. Always made me wonder why people were advocating equal prize money for Men and women at grand slams given women are working for a shorter time. Unless it goes strain on the body or something similar. Anyway that's a whole separate topic.

I have my parents staying with me from England. We are going to the day session at Rod Laver on Friday. Mother keeps asking me who we'll see. Absolutely impossible to figure out.

Kyrgios is playing well, and entertaining the crowd. Broady doesn't stand a chance. That shot between the leg just for fun mid rally was telling of how in charge he is.

Great to wake up to a Murray win and the Brits generally doing well.

Leylah Fernandez out in the first round was a bit of a surprise though.

Edit: Oh and the people shouting SIUUUUUUUUUUU need to be euthanised.
