Hi everyone, my first time build has been running good for a couple of weeks at stock speeds so I thought I would try the Auto overclock facility.
I have an Asus P7H55-M-USB3 motherboard, an i3 530 and 4Gb of Corsair DDR3 1600Mhz.
When I use the Auto setting I get the following results:
CPU
Core Volts 1.248V
Core Speed 4032.4 Mhz
Multiplier X21.0
Bus Speed 192 Mhz
QPI Link 4224.3 Mhz
Memory
NB Frequency 3072.1 Mhz
Dram Frequency 768.0 Mhz
FSB : Dram 4 : 16
SPD
SPD EXT.= XMP
Volts 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.650
Does this look OK or are there problems with using the Auto facility?
I would like to try to manually overclock but I'm afraid I will get it all wrong. Will someone give me a bit of courage and advise me on what alterations I should make manually to the stock settings to get that sort of OC ( I'm quite happy with 4 Ghz )
Core Temps at the above settings when web brousing etc. ( not gameing ) are about 40C with stock cooler.
Thanks
