Having major problems with my new "Auzentech Prelude",i install the drivers which also installs the console launcher ect aswell. When i click on the auzentec console launcher or the settings a box opens up saying "No device found compatable with this software"?I have gone into the vista control panel & everything looks ok such as device working & driver installed and there is no yellow question mark next to the device. So basically i can't get into the any of the cards setting via the auzentech software.

My sytem specs are.

Asus Maximus
Q6600
4Gb Ram
8800 GTX
Vista 64 Home Premium

Thanks Amidar.

My board has 2 x PCI slots,i have the card in the lower slot & cant use the upper pci slot due to my 8800GTX been an ACS3 edition(It has a heatsink on the back of the card).

ok i see.
try this. go to add and remove and take out everything to do with the Prelude. then go in to device manager and uninstall the card from there as well. shut down windows and take the card out. then boot it back up again. once its booted back up to the desk top just shut it back down again and put the card back in. boot up again and install all the drivers again. this has worked for me a few times in the past.
Good Luck
:)

Tried all that mate, got another hard drive coming tuesday so going to put XP on that & see if it all works ok.

Amidar, I wonder if you have suffered a somewhat similar problem as I did... everything looks as normal for mine as well until I went into the control panel as you did. Same messages.

Yep sounds like the same problems i'm having,i even uninstalled everything & put my audigy zs back in & the same problem with that, creative control panel wont launch:(

mine is running under Vista 64 with no problems . wonder if it has anything to do with haveing 4GIGs of ram ? did you download the patch from Auzentechs web site. might be worth a try

Ironic that, I also upgraded from a Audigy 2 ZS. Perhaps that is related. Installing the XP drivers on Vista got me all sorted though.
