So is the Reality gem still with the Collector? Apparently the Russo brothers did say it gets used in the movie, they just didn't say by who...so maybe this is how the Avengers get the upper hand on Thanos. It can bring back the dead after all ;) #whosgonnadie

IMDB says the collector is in the film so safe to say Thanos will be paying him a visit.

Except it's no longer Infinity War Part 1 and 2.
The 4th Avengers movie is currently untitled and only this one is Infinity War...

Now, I would be hugely surprised if they didn't directly follow from each other, but I really want this one to be a full three hour movie.
 
It could be brilliant but I fear it will be ****. It never works when you try to have too many competing "main" characters in a film. They are going to have 20+ in this and they will all want their one liners and moment in the limelight.

It worked fine for the first two (plus Civil War) they've had a fair amount of practice at this by now.

I guess it depends on what you like.

I didn't think Civil War was very good.

They are also bringing in the cast of

Avengers
GOTG
Spiderman
Black panther

In various films a certain character might have had a small bit part but all of these bit part players seem to be taking a major role in the film. I'm sure I'll go to see it but I'm not massively excited.
 
Trailer got me more hyped for Black Panther as well now!

Spiderman's 'Spider sense' thing seems really useful...No way he would be able to tell that massive floating portal above a city on fire was a threat without it!(that is tongue in cheek, I'm sure it is just edited to look like that!)

I highly doubt everyone is going to have a major role. Think War Machine's role in Age of Ultron, a lot will get nothing more than that.
 
Think about it honestly. Who will Thanos be wary of really? Black Widow? Hawkeye? Not in the slightest. Hulk, Thor, perhaps Ironman, maybe Starlord, being half God. Dr Strange and Vision of course. Even Cap and Spider-Man will be little more than a nuisance rather than being any real threat. Sure the others will be in it, but they won't be the focus of the movie. They can't be really.

They aren't just fighting Thanos. I doubt it's a coincidence that the trailer shows Captain America, Bucky, Black Panther, Falcon, Black Widow, War Machine, and Hulk defending Wakanda, seemingly absent most of the most powerful members of the team. There's no sign of Thanos there either.

No mention of Scarlet Witch? She could cause Thanos some serious pain.
 
I can see the film ending once he gets the gauntlet.

My theory; they’ll spend 3hrs showing how he obtains all the infinity stones plus some big skirmishes so to keep the action flowing and the crowd happy. Then, as he obtains ultimate power he kills some major characters and the film ends in a massive cliffhanger, giving the impression that there is seemingly no hope for the heroes.

It would be my guess as they can then pass the Captain America role over to the Winter Soldier as they did in the comics.
