I was lucky enough to see a Vulcan a couple of times at airshows. The word "loud" doesn't even begin to describe itIt felt like somebody was pulverizing my bones to dust with a jackhammer.

Can't say I've ever had my civil liberties removed - I hope its not painful. Does it always require an AWACS and two eurofighters first?

Unless it was a B2 Spirit being chased by 2 Eurofighters I wouldn't worry
To be honest I would be a lot more worried by a Tu-160 being chased by.... nvm the RAF never see them coming ^^

I have never seen the Vulcan fly, quite a shame really. One of the nicer things about Lincoln is seeing all the RAF jets and even the odd Spitfire flying around.

It's awesome, saw it at Lowestoft Air Show a few years back, it's epic... would have loved to see it over Port Stanley.
Would love to see the Vulcan especially for the noise of the beast. I will never forget the noise of concorde when we were standing at the end of 27R at Heathrow outside the fence - it was just absolutely amazing.
As mentioned above Joint Warrior is on the moment and there is some interesting stuff over including a P-8 from US Navy.

I caught an AWACS escorted by 2 fighter jets and a smaller private looking jet accompanied by 2 more fighter jets crossing Hyde PArk today at approx 5:40 on my helmet cam on my bike.
Quite a sight to see in London...
I assume they are either for the Queen's Jubilee or Olympic security...

They flew right over my flat - it was pretty cool. 
It has just been making passes over Lincoln, we see it quite often here. No Eurofighters though
Well, as they are based on the outskirts of Lincoln, it's not suprising really.
The Typhoons are over Lincoln all the time, just too high to spot most of the time. but again they are only based 30 miles down the road so you don't have to go far to see one.

In Hull. Over recent weeks theres been tons of activity, almost daily f15's low over Uni, a pair of Eurofighters the other day and the AWACs a couple of times too
