I get to see it flying over my house this weekend along with loads of other aircrafts because Shoreham airshow will be on.

Not going to risk going up on the hills, not since a couple of years ago when that Hurricane crashed so close to us.

I took this at Brize whilst the Vulcan was staying there for a bit. Managed to get a good look around inside and out. The civvy's that run it are not the most friendly of people and really were not happy about RAF people looking around an ex RAF plane.

I'm luckily enough to drive past the Vulcan stationed at Southend Airport on the way to and from work.

It looks fantastic.

Ditto, well the first time anyway. Regularly used to have a Sqn of them fly over our house (way back in the day obviously). It's definitely by far and away the most awesome aircraft I've ever seen fly.

My son really does not understand the power of this thing, I was a nipper when first seeing this fly directly over us and it scared the hell out of me but I loved it all the same! I will never forget it.
