Awkward moments

i know the trend you meen... often just makes it worse so some of my friends started taking the **** and dooing awkward moose - putting arms on hear like antlers
 
I dunno, awkward turtle is sort of cute, at least the way she does it, gets a laugh anyway.:o

Personally I'm normally just oblivious to the fact it's an awkward situation (but then it tends to be that makes the situation awkward)... :p
 
I get the spade and continue excavating, if I've said something and it's been taken the wrong way I usually try to explain it which often leads to even more of verbal foul-up. Seems to be quite entertaining for other people at least, if I'm really not helping myself and I've realised that then I'll point out I'm deep enough already and just shut up.

me and my friends do awkward turtle :D its the best one cus then it makes it awkward for the people who dont know

That or I end up overly apologising and over-try to explain how things never meant to be/end up being awkward.

Basically just end up in such a cuffudle that the person feels sorry for the gibbering mess I become, laugh at me and tell me not to worry about it.

I tend to do these. Including today when I made a joke about someone's Mum, who happened to have died last month and i'd totally forgotten. :o
 
I generally punch the person for making it awkward even if they didnt ...

all seriousness though i sort of just break eye contact then look at the person i was speaking to and go "well that was awkward anyway what was we talking about Oh yeh.... etc"

I tend to look away and break eye contact :o, regain some of my lost composure then resume looking at them again as I speak. Sometimes I crack jokes and 'go into character' but this doesn't always work.

How exactly do you 'crack a joke' and 'go into charater' when you are in an awkward moment, i.e. when you get caught fapping furiously in your bedroom. :confused:
