I got omne of these yesterday :

Board is actually the S2V-B3 version. Looked in mint condition in a mint box. Works great only slight issue is it had the wrong I/O shield in the box, looked like a shiled for the regular S2-B3

Very happy tho works great :)

I've just got one of these and now have to RMA it as one of the socket pins are bent and the cost to send it back I might as well payed an extra £10 on top that and got it new. :(

This is the second time now something was clearly broken but sent to me. The other time was a Socket A motherboard years ago, the mouse/keyboard ps2 connector was bent out of shape to it's side.

I must admit i did have a very close look at mine as i thought one of the pins looked odd.

I couldnt say 100% that its not bent however it works fine so im happy to keep it.

I'm glad your's is working well I saw your post when I ordered mine so was quite hopeful that all would be ok, I was just about to install it checked the backplate which didn''t match up (Just like your's) and once I took the socket protector off and looking closely I could see it wasn't right. :(

But to add some balance to this thread I've purchased a Dell 2007FP factory repack from a competitor and saved about £150 back when they where still quite new and never been so happy with it as I'm still using it today. Also had a B-Grade/ex-display again from a competitor s775 motherboard that arrrvied like new and worked great for year's till I sold it to upgrade.

So yeah there may be a increased risk in the item being faulty over a new product but you take the chance and in some cases you can save quite abit of money. :)
