** B-Grade Warranty - Extended to 90 days **

That's why I was stating that, although the increase to 90day warranty is a good change, it's not what I feel would have been the most important change.

Personally the 14-day warranty was not top of my reasons why I have never bought a B-grade item here (despite being tempted). The lottery of what I would receive is the prime reason for not buying B-grade yet.

Not being ungrateful, just trying to provide useful feedback on why this alone would not change my purchasing choices with OcUK - I would have expected that would be more useful to you than "thanx u guyzzz rockz0rr!!".

I understand what the Don's are saying, it would be a pain to go through every B grade item and post on the site exactly what's in there and what's not, maybe an option to call in ask what's in the box? That way you only get the guys who are genuinly interested in the item, saving you time and effort.

Nope sales don't have access to the warehouse, so they can't go and inspect B-Grade items, neither do they have time to do so. B-Grade is about been a bargain and the products are sold at a loss.

These losses greaten if we spend time inspecting stock, tying up phone lines.

Also if we inspected the stock, the savings would not be as big, the reasons B-Grade savings can be big is because of that gamble.

So nope OcUK will not grade different B-Grade product and can sales inspect stock.

Fair enough.

Is it perfectly fine to return an item if it does not come with the parts you were wanting then, in that case?

Even so, I do not understand why OcUK take items back with parts missing to begin with. Usually item has to be complete for a refund to be granted?

The problem with DSR legally we have to take the item back and give a refund, even if the item in incomplete (as long as the main component is there) :( If we wanted to we could pursue the end user to claim back the missing items but it isn't worth the effort/man power.

The problem with B garde at the moment is some of the pricing, for example a bgrade P5Q deluxe is £120+ quid, a new one is £82 :p

As for knowing whats included and what isnt thats not an issue for me really as i can go into the shop and check whats with it then decide if i want it :p

When i went to buy a B grade board i called in the shop asked them to check contents of the boxed and they refused so one rule for one and another rule for others.

Seriously guys, we give you something extra for free :) Longer warranty and all we get is complaints?

B-Grade has always been none-specific regarding the accessories, and you guys focus on that instead of the new offering.

Who's complaining:confused:
I'd prefer to look at it as constructive criticism with a view to helping OCUK help their customers and in the process shift more stock.

Gibbo states that you increased the warranty to 90days due to listening to customers requirements(+ brings in line with other e-tailers)

These same customers are again trying to be constructive yet get labelled as complainers.

You can't have it both ways:)

Relax mate :)

View it as constructive feedback, its not a personal attack on OCUK. Most contributors to this discussion have acknowledged what a good move moving to 90 days warranty was. However its obvious from the thread that we think the service could be further improved and we've highlighted an area for improvement. Isn't that what the forums are for?

it is a good move but should have happened yesterday ;) , well when i ordered my b-grade mobo anyways lol . just recieved it and all that is missing is the yellow sata cables , but it comes with everything else . just got to install it now lol

This is perfect, i want to start investing in b-grade products but the 15 days is never enough as im currently living abroad (Netherlands) I pick up my goods when im over in the UK, this now gives me 90 days to test it fully and return if i need too...

Think ill be investing in a new monitor very soon.

Nice one ocUK!

I've just bought a B Grade monitor and it clearly said on the webpage hat it had a 3 year warranty. When I called sales to question this, they said if it said 3 years then it was 3 years. They certainly didn't state that the policy was 14 or 90 days!

Has this information now been passed to the sales teams?

I believe the 3 years would be with the manufacturer, the 90 days is with OCUK. If I’m not mistaken?

Would like to know this too. I can't really think of anything that could be missing being that big of a problem but would be easier to have peace of mind.

I would assume that is the manufacturers garentee that is the 3 years, but worh double checking that there is the warrenty.

having seen the price of the R2E i would not hesitate to buy one now but for one thing the IO plate.

I dont care about any other accessories that come with a motherboard but with a Bgrade motherboard id be seriously annoyed if it had no IO plate.

If i could be sure of getting a R2E with io plate from bgrade id buy one.

wow this is getting very trivia, if you not happy with the decision of OCUK b grade then go and buy the full retail, as they said nothing in life is free, if you see the price is reduce just take it as sometime major could be missing, and if you get everything in the box minus the manual who gives a kick especially is you have save 30-45 pound or even 10-15 pound............... for example a graphic cards what would be important the main item or the connectors and Drivers????

Treat the item in B-Grade like ex display, what you see is what you get, in the sense of the main item is there and maybe some bits.....my person view i would say b-grade would be for people who is looking to replace the same item, if i am incorrect Don please correct me.
