B&W RAW shots in CS2

Ok, what am I missing here.

I shot some black and white RAW shots today and on my cameras screen they are in black and white but when I open them in Photoshop CS2 they are in colour!

Ah, ok. So all parameters such as B&W etc make no difference if you are shooting it RAW. Got it.
