As above relay letf for work about 10:30 yesterday (sunday) morning got a call from the GF at work saying my back door had been kicked in and the alarm was going off this was about 2:30 , told my boss what happend and went home got there abour 2:45 door complealy caved in with such force that the center of the door was barely hanging on (it was one big ass wooden door) and the lock riped apart from the door frame (pic will be comming)

Im the only guy in my house at moment and its been like that for 6months (was a shared house but evey moved out) , anyways went up stairs to my room and both my laptop and my tower have been nicked (just upgraded to C2D) so i have no pc at all now left the moniter , hd dvd drive etc and made a mess of things , police came round that day and a some one dusted for prints this morning but found little i do have insureance with the laptop as single item valued at 900quid the isureance has a £25 excess per item so i go that route and get the pc back how it was or haggle with them over a tower of similer or tad higher spec from a gaming rig builder were the excess would be a tad less over all (max excess 150quid). ?

the even more annoying thing is im moving out of this crappy town (bolton)on the 30th! and graduation is friday as well

was it the first time your back door got smashed in? It always hurts the most first time, you should be alright next time. just bite down hard on something.

its like being kiecked in the nuts , how do you think i should claim , ie each part seperatly which would about to about 1.3-1.5k or try and claim for a build gaming rig like OCUK one here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-021-OK&groupid=43&catid=781&subcat=

with a few tweaks (i had 2 seagates 10.320gb and a audgiy 2 ZS pro and not an x-fi , e6700 to what was kicked a e6600) , i did get as much cover i could get at the time , theres up £4000 on a single item with a min excess of 25 or 10% upto 150quid , the tower im more consured about as its not a separte item like the laptop was .

PS im stilled stressed out over this + being a dislexic idoit who be picking up his crappy 2-2 degree on friday my spelling and grammer has allways been of a 5 year olds

Sorry to hear about that. Ever heard of punctuation?

Christ this place ***** me off sometimes. A dude gets Burgled and has his Tower & lappy nicked & all you care about is whether he punctuates his post, *** Get a Life.

O.P.
Totally gutted for you mate but at least it came at the end of your course & hasn't affected your graduation.
Hope your luck changes soon.
