Thought I could do with a little exercise so just a shiny new Marin Palisades HL. Can anyone recommend some decent places to go in the Bristol area? Cross country ideally?

To get this started I considered a ride to Stroud tomorrow? Too much for a first ride? But to be honest I was looking for some forrest fun?
