Hi all,
About a week ago we bought a SAMSUNG T24E390 24" LED TV which was returned due to the back light shining through a large area of the bottom right of the screen in dim and low light scenes. As a bedroom TV it was really distracting as it washed out the bottom right of anything which wasn't filmed in the day time.
After a bit of a faff we were able to replace it for the same model but this time the issue is even worse and the light is shining through all the way round the bezel, even with brightness and back light settings turned down.
I understand that some level of bleed is to be expected with an LED screen but the last two panels we've been sent have been shocking
I've read about gently rubbing the affected areas with a soft cloth (which doesn't seem to work), loosening screws and laying the screen flat on it's front after it's been on for a couple of hours (which I've not tried).
Does anyone have any other 'home remedies' which may help alleviate the problem when I get home? If nothing works we'll return this one and look for something different, which is a shame because in every other respect, we're really impressed with the screen!
