Bad Company 2 preorder on Steam??

Well i preordered BF:BC2 and it so happens to be a limited edition however i would prefer to cancel my preorder and buy on Steam.
Anyone have any knowledge as to when/if it will appear on Steam and if a Steam preorder will turn up??

Nowadays, if it is not on Steam, I don't play it.

To the op, E.A have been very Steam friendly as of late so expect it to appear nearer the time. Why pre-order a digital copy?

There is no guarantee that it will ever be released on Steam.

Yea you can get BF2 on steam, but none of the others.

CRYSIS

MIRRORS EDGE
BATTLEFORGE

BF 2142 will also be on Steam when the next patch hits.

There are others too.

I see no reason why BF:BC2 will not be on Steam.

I'm taking about DICE games, the Battlefield series. I'm just saying there's no guarantee it will be released on steam.

So I wouldn't cancel pre-orders yet. Keep them on pre-order until we actually find out if it's coming out on steam or not.

Sometimes it's better to get a game without Steam. E.g. Dragon Age: Origins - the version you download from the EA store is DRM free.

Not all EA games have been released on Steam. The Saboteur is one recent example.
