BAD POOL HEADER bsod, after crackling noise from tower

I'm pretty sure ive just fixed it by doing exactly what this guy did

would have never found the solution without finding this, i actually noticed a slight change in the font firefox was using, i didn't have any problems until about a day after i saw the font though, strange...still feels like a bsod is going to jump out at me any second though, feeling hopeful

Yes there are no signs of anything wrong with the PC, my cables aren't managed very efficiently so I guess it must have been a wire clipping a fan as they sped up (I was running assassins creed for about 3 hours so it will have gotten hot in there). At least I hope that is the case, no problems since reinstalling my fonts.
