Crucial 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 Ballistix Memory
Ballistix 240-pin DIMM
Specs: DDR3 PC3-12800 • 8-8-8-24 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR3-1600 • 1.65V • 256Meg x 64
Hi guys I was wondering if anyone would be happy to use this memory for their systems x58 I7 920 systems?
On some sites it's stated that it's 1.8 volt which I heard was not recommended for I7 system mobo's/cpu's. Though as you can see it's rated volt is 1.65V.
I would assume that the voltage and timings would be adjustable in the bios.
How much varience does an X58 mobo have in the varience of different timings and voltages also ?
