Ballistix PC8500 + GA-P35DS3R Blue Screen

As title, F1 BIOS
4x1GB PC8500 ballistix

fails memtest and randomly blue screens and dumps memory

Ive upped the ddr voltage to +0.4 which shoudl take it to the recommended 2.2v for ballistix

any other suggestions or guides on how to configure this properly ?

Ive RMAd modules to crucial and am using new ones now and memtest always fails

gah this is such a pain, im not sure ive got everything else in the bios set up properly but i havent really touched it, and i dont think this should be happening normally.

What RAM does work with this mobo ?

If the voltages and timings are set right and its failing memtest, its not your boards fault - unless it has a tendency to kill ram. :rolleyes:

Any recommendations of good single sided DDR2 ? Im after 4GB

Chris, I'm not able to run my Ballistix any more than 890MHz after second pair RMA'd. They’re OK at that though.
I'm sure these single sided sticks don't run at the full spec(1066MHz), well not for long anyway!

Ok an update to this if i now test each 1 stick seperatley memtest always errors in the same place 1022.8MB Err bits 0000001 on every stick in every slot, the sticks are from crucial direct now due to being RMAd so I dont eblieve all 4 have the EXACT samer error

is it more a timings issue ?
