Ballistix Tracer and pk5 premium problems

Ballistix Tracer 8500 problems i have 4gb(4x1) and i had problems with my old gigabyte ga 965p and could only use one stick in there, adjusted the values in the bios.. so i thoughti need a new board got a new board but still having problems i fact i am going mad with issue . i think maybe onw stick is broken but they all wrong when i try it on its own, anty ideas? please help or i my be forced to blind fold some squirrels and exicute them in my rage :eek:

I've just returned 4x1GB Ballistix 8500 (non tracer) and gone to 2x2GB G.Skill 8500 due to the problems I had with it on my new P5K-E. G.Skill only came today but is running great so far.

Bloke in OcUK RMA support said they'd had a lot of problems with the latest Ballistix... Is your's single sided RAM?

I've just installed PC6400 Ballistix Tracer (2x2GB) no problems here although i'm pretty sure they aren't performing as well as the Geil I had installed ????

If you look carefully at the RAM only one side has chips on it if it's single sided. The other side is just a heat sink on double sided tape...

Put another way, when did you buy it?
