Morning guys,

Last visit to the lakes the missus wasn't exactly stoked on coniston, just went on that bit too long, and carried on going up and up around every corner, with the final bit going super steep. (i thought its was great lol) So next visit looking for some walks with jaw dropping scenery, 3-5 miles, but much less elevation.

Orrest head comes to mind, not much climb for some epic views at the top, so something similar, or perhaps a walk around one of the lakes themselves nestled between mountains?

Cheers!

In and around Castle Crag is nice, plenty to see. Crinkle Crags and Bowfell is a good walk as well.

My favourite though is Pillar and Ennerdale Valley.
