Bank error in your favour collect £100!

That's right people I went to bank today to put in a cheque reclaiming my deposit on my old flat and the woman miraculously gave me a receipt stating £330 instead of £230..! Just noticed having glanced at the receipt, what are the chances of them noticing?

The chances of them noticing are 100%, since banks hate losing money than anyone else hates anything else in the entire world.

ahhh they will notice, this new lady in my bank put £15 in my bank for me when i drew it out

does your account have overdraft facility? if not then take it out asap then thay cant take it out?, u could be honest and tell them though

Some self service checkout in tesco made an error in my favour. I got two goodfellas pepperoni pizzas, two tubs of carte dor ice cream, 24 cans of dr pepper, big ass box of rice crispies and 4 pints of milk for a fiver :eek:

I paid in 200 pounds cash once and the reciept showed 300, they never took it back.
That being said I presume it's harder to trace a cash loss over a cheque.

I'd prefer they took the £100 out my old letting agents account, they managed to hand us an £112 cleaning bill despite the place being spotless when we moved out! Gypsies.

All the bank staff have to balance the books every day before they can go home so I doubt it will go unmissed for too long
