So, Was in the pub, and a girl I thought was pretty nice was behind the bar turns out my sister knows her so she came over after last orders for a drink and we were all having a chat and we did the whole "i know blah blah who you know too thing" Anyway she is single but shes a year older than me, I know shes working tomorrow and i'm suppose to go in to pick up some of them cocktail stiry things (thick plectrums).

So, whats the best way of saying "I'm intrested in having a relationship with you, do you want to?" without being a fool if she says no.

Shes a year older than you???? That makes no difference what so ever!!
Im a bar maid, and I get fed up of guys asking for my number and flirting with me all the time! The guys I remember are the ones who come in and have a nice conversation with me, without flirting at first. And then maybe after a few weeks I would give them my number, but Ive learnt not to give my number out straight away now. Hopefully that should help, i suggest going in there a few more times and starting up conversation, really ask her how she is etc and let her knwo your not just interested in chatting her up! and take things form there ;)

hmm thats really cheesy! Unless you got the vibe that she liked you when u had a chat the other day, but I would still say wait a bit longer and visit her more!
She probably gets tons of guys asking her for her number, or out for a drink, do you want to be just another one of "those" guys? Or someone she remembers?

One guy that sticks out in my mind, is this really friendly guy. He came from up north and was visiting some old friends here, but had got bored and went for a drink by himself. I was working and he stood by the bar for a bit and made general chit chat about his friends, and the area etcetc at first I thought he was abit boring, but soon got talking about more stuff. He was meant to go home the next morning, but came in the next evening again by himself, and we just had a chat again, and when he said goodbye he didnt ask for my number or anything he just told me it was wonderful meeting me, and walked out. Il prob never see him again, and I didnt fancy him but it was a relief to chat to someone genuine for once, and made my shift a lot nicer!

Dude, take my approach on life.

Ask her out, you have nothing to loose, everything to gain, 30 seconds asking her out, if it's a no, be cool. If it's a yeah great. If you always have the attitude of "nothing ventured, nothing gained" you'll be fine, and slowly your confidence will increase ten fold.

I used to be known to my close friends as KBK (knock Back Keith) as I used to always be asking various honeys out. Sure I got my knock backs, but I also met some wonderfull ladies!
Make it light hearted, have a joke about it. Think about it the other way round, If someone asks you out, how would you respond?
