Hello,

I was sitting down to dinner tonight when I receive a phone call from a Holiday company called La Costa.com !
Offering me a holiday up to four people for £29.50 each, which included flights and self catering accommodation for a week in either, Cos Del Sol, or Tenerife.
So I opt for Tenerife as I have never been to the cannery islands at all.
Now I have to attend some exhibition in London next week. Where I will be shown round by a rep and at the end I receive my paper work for the said cheap holiday !
Now I do realise that nothing is free or cheap with out a catch !
So I queried the young marketing girl on the phone and there seems to be no other costs apart from Airport taxes and the £29.50 each.

Has any body else had this offer and taken it up ?

Sounds like a sales pitch for a timeshare or some such. Expect it to be the polar opposite of straight forward and easy to get the promised cheap holiday.
 
la Costa even gave me the address in London for the exhibition, Charlott House, windmill Street. I have not checked this out yet on google.
The girl on the phone mention that the office was based in Pitsea, Essex !
She even gave me a ATOL number 5944, Reg No.3123199.
Again I have not checked this out on the ATOL web site.
Will have a look tomorrow after work.
 
It probably isn't a scam, but it is a timeshare sales pitch. They are attempting to sell you a timeshare with a low cost holiday as a hook to get you to the exhibition.
