battery charging

I just bought a car battery charger, it has two options to charge- standard or GEL.
Now my battery is a sealed type i.e. it doesnt require topping up.
So which one should i select when charging?

Im 99% sure yours will be a standard type battery, Gel batteries are often used in underseat appications.

Standard mate, gel ones are mainly marine batteries, although they are used in a chrysler voyager of all things.

Well, its a bit of a boat, possibly even, a barge?
