Just back from the annual Battle of Britian At Home Day airshow at RAF Leuchars in Fife. The weather was, for once, superb although shooting into the sun is never easy....

It took us two and a half ours to get out!!

The show was great but the traffic pfft what a shambles.

rpstewart can I ask what camera and lense you used for those shots?

Office car park! luck you :)

Great shots btw.

Shame the Chinook had a problem, as its always an amazing display from it.

btw have you rotated the last shot? as I think all the aircraft were landing left to right from the crowd. Unless you were airside of course :)

Nice series, it was quite difficult shooting into the sun this year (similar conditions to 2006)

We were quite lucky getting out, car park 3 was totalyl gridlocked at about 4.30, we sat for a while and then weaved through the car park to get in a position to escape when the other exit opened at ~5pm after the display ended (you have to cross the end of the runway so it's closed off while planes are flying...)

Was back in Crail for 5.45 :)
