The game is actually really quite good.
If you manage to get on a server where both teams are actually giving it a good go then the game is great.
That's my biggest issue. I find one side tends to steamroll the other.

ANYONE???
I had a shocker yesterday though, kept joining teams who were getting steamrolled - no fun.
Suez has to be the most wonky map in the game, even after they changed it up the map still ends up more often than not with one team pumping the other. Its rare that you see anything remotely close on that map.
Suez is such a **** map.
When it rolls round on the map rotation, i just sigh, spawn as scout and just fire flares and snipe all round until it's over.

On the rare occurrence of a close game on Suez though it can be a great map. Admittedly those are few and far between though.
The map simply doesn't work, its a really basic map but it just seems to be one side will almost always steamroll the other. The changes they made to it really made no difference, its just a pumpathon.

Sometimes I'm playing TDM (yes I know, I like to run and gun ) and I feel like I'm playing an old school WW2 COD game... The rest of the time I feel like I'm playing what I hope Battalion 1944 will be!
So god damn happy with the purchase!
trouble is they went in the wrong direction with the changes, they should have added the extra points north and south to space people out more.. having all the flags in a line just keeps it one sided most of the time
I enjoy it when I can get in a game it just reminds me of bf1942 which I loved!
Keep getting the disconnected from session issue though , tried asking in here a few times but had no reply... I just end up playing something else now
That's not the fundamental problem with the map, Linear can work, the fundamental problem is the lack of cover in both the side channels which encourages everyone into the middle channel and makes flanking hard.
Zavod 311 in BF4 was quite linear (except it had two flags in the centre) and IMO was an example of superb map design as flanking on the left channel, right channel or overhead (air channel) was relatively easy. It didn't work well for very high ticket servers as the cover would get systematically flattened which lead to the map playing more like suez.
oh yeah but i was just talking about that map and the way it is, adding the flags where they did has done nothing to change how it plays, but i do think if they added the 2 new flags above and below where C currently is, then it would play a bit better
but i do agree about the cover.. though i suppose the only thing they could do is add trenches down the flanks because if they added more buildings it would just turn into a fully shotgun match

Only ever does it when the game has got more then 10 people in though , if the game is just starting or there's less then 10 in there then it will joinread on the internet it's happened to a few people but can't seem to find a fix
