*** Battlefield 1 ***

tempted as i cant see the usual key sites selling it.. not sure whether to hold off though since the first dlc isn't out until march and maybe it'll drop further in price by then

Yeah thats what I thought, I doubt even CD keys sites will have it for that price by March though, BF4 was still more, and that was a cheaper game to start with.

thats true, just checked cdkeys and they still have bf4 premium up for £20..

decided to go for it.. cant see it going lower than £28 even by march like you said... thanks for sharing that :D

just so others know - you have to use the code "GIFTOFPLAY" at checkout for that price

Excuse my ignorance but I want to confirm this before i drop my wallet on this game:

If I buy Battlefield 1 standard and then Battlefield 1 premium pass off Origin, priced at £90 (total). Use the code for 30% off, making it £60 (total) - does that cover me for all the DLC and everything, meaning there is nothing else id need to buy to get the full experience as and when these new modes / maps / armies etc arrive?

Cheers,

yeah the premium is all of the future DLC, so maps, weapons, factions, vehicles etc

so base game + premium = everything

Might as well get origin access for a month and that will give you another 10% off. So you will effectively get origin access for free and an extra £2 off.

Think you can still try BF1 if you have Origin access but you will need to look that up.

Thats of course if anything in the Origin vault takes your fancy.

Wouldnt work since you cant use other discounts with this

"MAY NOT BE COMBINED WITH ANY OTHER PROMOTIONAL OR DISCOUNT OFFER, UNLESS EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZED BY EA;"

Worked for me. Got the 10% for access (which I forgot to cancel) and then the 30% on top. £25.19 for premium.

I only get some odd random flickering on the chat box for some reason, never affects the area outside that and it only happens very occasionally.

ah ok, thanks for confirming. they should really put that in the T&C for the promotion then, to avoid confusion

worth noting that you get 30% off the price of premium and then 10% off that total. rather than 40% the whole thing
