Battlefield 2 Bad Company

Had a read through, have you eliminated the possibility that it is your BT home hub (ie. borrowed someone elses router to test)? I did have issues with some games even when the firewall was off and ports forwarded. Turned out the isp router was the cause as since it's been replaced I've not had issues.

Now normally i would say that its worth trying, however....
Just google Failed to connect to EA online, please try again and see what happens.

If this many people have the problem then it cannot be just BT Home HUbs causing it.

That said.... if it is, then EA should have worked it out years ago but the problem still remains.

Im guessing you've done the usual things, such as Uninstall/reinstall, Verifying integrity etc.

The router angle might still be worth a shot.

You don't have any software Antivirus running either do you?

BC2 and BC2:Vietnam are probably my most played games.

I am with BT, running the BT Home Hub 2.0 and I'll get dc'd once a night if I'm unlucky. I cant complain at all !

That said, I wish I could say the same about source games !

If you are getting random disconnects from your game and are running a BT Homehub, disabling UPNP on your router should fix this.

I had this exact same problem and tried forwarding ports with no luck, disabling UPNP worked a charm though. I also have a friend who is on BT with the Homehub and he also gets these disconnects, but still hasn't done this fix... the lazy sod.

Oh my bad I didn't read all the links, sorry but I have no other solutions, good luck though. :)
