** BATTLEFIELD 3 - PREMIUM - IN STOCK AND SHIPPING NOW - FORUM MEMBERS, SEE POST #123 **

what are benefits of this over bf3 limited edition?

BF3 limited edition does not include,Close Quarters, Armoured Kill, Aftermath, and End Game for expansion packs. Plus, special dog tags, platoon emblems, customization for your character such as a premium knife and premium camouflage for kits and weapons. There are premium videos too which give you tips and tricks, priority access in queues (VIPs are still first), and early access to the aforementioned expansion packs. These expansion packs will contain new game modes. There are premium assignments too.

I wish this was posted last week Overclockers,I cancelled my CQ pre order because of premium comming out. :( :p

i am pretty sure in time there would be simmilar deals. I am not trying to put people off, but in my circumstances with limited gaming time and already owning limited edition, it would seem pointless

Surely though if the remaining packs: Close Quarters, Armoured Kill, Aftermath and End Game are all £10 a pop like Close Quarters is this still works out better value even for Limited Edition owners?

bit more bearable than the £40 most places are asking eh?

Amen to that.

Isn't it daft that a multi-billion dollar corporation can't compete with another retailer on their own product?

Kudos to OcUK, brilliant price, gives me something to fall back on if EA rumble my recent 'trip' to India :p

in case you're still confused, bf3 premium DOES NOT contain the bf3 game it's just the DLCs plus some other extras. as papalazaru said if you buy bf3 premium you will still need the bf3 game(be it as standard or limited edition version).

I have bf3 + the karkland dlc(bought at christmas, standard edition + dlc for £20 as I had a code for free dlc when buying bf3 on origin), I've yet to play the game so not sure on getting premium just yet.

and as I said in this thread posted in the pc games section I didn't realise ea were allowing other places to sell this, thought it was only going to be available on origin and dodgy key sites.

I still remember the days when publishers and developers were telling us that Digital distribution means reduced costs and will mean cheaper prices....

£10 per expansion with 4 expansions left IF you already have Karkand. If you think you're going to get all 4 expansions then this is a good deal. If you don't already have Karkand then this is an even better deal. Also there are other little goodies on top of the expansions.

It's still extortionate though.

But not all, infact I know of 1 place cheaper (which is not a VPN trick) ;)

That's fantastic. However when I was price hunting earlier to set my price to end users, there was nobody cheaper than us who I would personally trust giving my hard earned to.

When I first started purchasing at ocuk, the prices on games were fairly poor. Now we are in a position that allows us to present every title we launch at a very aggressive price point and in some cases, cheapest in the UK.

We still don't offer free shipping in games which is something I would love to change but if you have forum member shipping then we really are a challenger for the best place to get your PC games.

cq247 isn't a clan is it clee?
