can you join a server as a platoon? when i join a server with other people in my platoon it doesn't team us up or even show them up as different on the server.

is it just an offline collection of players effectively?

The servers have a que system now so a small wait is all you can expect. :D

Platoon's are pritty pointless for communities like these tbh.

We have one as a clan The Fallen Unit and only accept members who are actually in and applied for the clan. We can then see who is our best player, jet whore, tank whore etc etc. So with small to medium clans it works great.

However the great use of these platoon’s is yet to be seen tbh!

Ey less choppsin more working :D ,... to be fair i can understand the logic behind it, on the other hand tho if people use the "search thread" icon all the info they need will be in this one thread. So for its masses of spam there is some useful things in here

Lol sorry man, but you know deep down it would have been an extension of the BF3 spam :p

besides this thread might have the potential to be the biggest BF3 thread.... IN THE WORLD ;)

Lol the funny thing is guys.... the topic "whats been posted the most", i.e ravens spam, Gerrards reported video's etc.... has already been spoke about previously haha!!!

Oh the irony!!!

Thundy: Might be idea to start a Battlefield 3 technical help thread... some1 mentioned about this before, least then people can see problems and resolutions

It defo works mate, altho i have noticed this thread it works for some people and not for others...

can i also mention DICE have confirmed there is a problem with R7 which is making servers crash every so often.

Have you left it as default? i.e does it need 8 players to actually start the game?

Just to let you all know, quite a few of the TFU guys will be on 2nite (including me). If you want some quality squad play or some mindless gloating on the vary rare occasion you get one of our tags…. Give me a shout on Battlelog (thegoon84). Or your welcome to join us on our mumble, just try and use the correct room as it gets busy.
