They have completely screwed the jet pilots over again :(

1. -Unguided tank rounds and RPGs will now instantly destroy Jets, Attack Helicopters, and Scout Helicopters.
2. -Increased the locking distance for AGM Missiles for Jets when locking on laser designated targets.
3. -Reduced the locking time for the AGM Missiles for Jets to make them more viable against ground targets.
4. -Reduced the locking time for AA Missiles for Jets to make them more viable against air targets. [Like they weren't viable in the first place!!!!]
5. -Flares for Jets and Choppers now reload at 11 seconds again, except for the gunner, which remains unchanged at 20sec. [Does anyone know what the current lock on time is??]
6. -AA Missiles are more difficult to dodge in Jets, this was unintended behavior that created an imbalance against skilled pilots. [This is a huge setback IMHO]
7. -AA Missiles should no longer detonate before hitting their target or a Flare/ECM chaff cloud.
8. -Reduced the damage AA missiles do to jets to 45%
9. -Increased the speed of the Helicopter AA missiles lock on to reduce the tedious nature of Helicopter dogfights and improve the Helicopter's defensive abilities vs Jets.
10. -Slightly reduced the damage of Jet cannons against Aircraft. Damage is now only slightly higher than it was originally at launch.
11. -Jet and Helicopter collisions should now properly result in the death of both vehicles.


If you look at these changes, the mobile AA is going to be unbeatable. GG EA.

You've not been screwed over at all.

The ECM jammer lasted for 5 seconds, with a 10 second reload time. Giving a total openning of 5 seconds with which to target and fire an AA missile and have it hit the moving jet

Assuming you could get the rocket to the jet before the ECM reloaded, the pilot could then just outbreak the missile and carry on.

It was alomst impossible to take out enemy jets with the stinger.

They've made them more effective, but reduced their range to balance it out. Good move IMO.

Screwed the jets?

How about the Stinger which is next to useless so unless the best pilot is on your side it's practically impossible to use any vehicles as they just get knocked out straight away. That's what is screwed up.

Rank 71 and only have four service stars and yet surprisingly enough, have 96 hours logged in a jet with over 4500 kills? Anyone else starting to see a common recurrence here? DICE move to balance the game and god forbid they make any changes which go against jets!

It's about time people realised that jets with good pilots are over powered and did something to level the field.

think i will put my plans of a team to do league ladder games back on now when this patch is relased . should be a lot better :cool:

registered my team will just need a few players added info on my bl . anyone interested please say there

Jet pilots have had it good for a while, skilled pilots can be almost unstoppable which is surely a bad thing.
Completely agree that if a tank is skilled/lucky enough to hit a jet with a shell that it should be instakill
 
No I was more after what the issues were with the game?

People are talking about lack of communication regarding issues, as far as I can see the game is pretty bug free?

Nah, it's not bug free, it depends what you think is worthy of being a bug or whether you're mistaking a bug for a glitch?
 
I have to say im excited by those patch changes.

Can't wait to try out the big change to MBT main guns damage against other tanks.
 
Well yeah.
I've clocked over 200 hours played and I honestly do not experience many bugs.

So did I and I still die from falling into water in seine crossing (lotsa calcium in the water in France? ) or jumping down 1 meter at full health to my death.

Pumping full clips into people without getting a hitmark and see them walk away with 100% health. but blame netcode for that. Trying to revive someone 8 times in a row without succes.

Lets hope this patch fixes a ******** of these annoying small thing (they get adressed in the patchnotes) so im hopeful :D

I asume you mean getting hitmarkers? I've had that happen a few times, empty a clip, plenty of hitmarkers but once I'm dead they have 100% health. On a couple of occasions a mate has been behind me, unloaded on the same guy, got hitmarkers and once we are both dead he's still showing 100% health. I'd call hacks but I've then managed to kill the guy next time I've seen him.
 
Everyone that kills me is using hacks, it's what i automatically say [obviously the majority aren't using hacks].

Am I the only one who's not had a single issue with the net code in this game? Everything I shoot at either dies or registers a hit. Yes i've died behind a wall before because I just didn't make it in time but I can live with that.
