It was alomst impossible to take out enemy jets with the stinger.

They've made them more effective, but reduced their range to balance it out. Good move IMO.

I agree with your last point as it will help to reduce base rape. However it's going to be horrible when you get a few coordinated trolls nailing you from different points in the map. Let's not forget that the most overpowered vehicle in the game is the helicopter and for the most part the only other vehicle that can take it down is the jet. Nerfing the jet will make the helicopters more powerful.

It's about time people realised that jets with good pilots are over powered and did something to level the field.

To be honest you sound like the same but hurt noobs that accuse me of hacking / rage at me every day. You even got my stats wrong :rolleyes:

Looking at your stats, you have a total of 49mins in the jet with only 2 kills. Says it all really.

No need for the sly digs at each other chaps.

Kiwi fancy training me up on jets? I'm thinking about going keyboard only. Was using an xbox 360 pad but found aiming with the gun rather difficult. My jets need a lot of work. :p

Hey Matt, would be happy to help. Make sure you first check out tips and tricks 1 & 2 by GenuinBurrem, he's one of the best and covers all the basics in the videos. If you have any questions after that then add me on battlelog.

Think it's pretty obvious that you don't hack.

Don't bother with jets, you can't capture points in them :)

anyone interested in playing in league/ladder? will need about 8 players got about 4 or 5 at minute we all will be chipping in 5 quid each for 3 month server rental 40 quid total.

if more want to do it we could join a bigger ladder . you must have ts3 though for matches and be available to play . most games will be at weekends between 8pm-10
 
We have seriously got to set something up in terms of casual gaming for OcUK.

There are so many of us online in the evenings, everyone has banter and it's great fun on Matts server.

Lets do something and then we can get some friendly matches going against other communities here and there. Nothing serious but purely for the fun and to pass the time.

I used to play CSS with lads from OcUK and it was the most fun i've had in years back in the day.

we need go get in a ladder jamor we could do some serious damage to teams! I just can't be arsed orginising it anymore did it all before with my quake 3 clan but if dg does it and its run well ill play every game and will always help out when i can with arranging games or whatever Just websites etc I'm crap at! And I can be a right **** on vioce coms sometimes too which some people can't handle half the time lol!

these are what im looking at doing

Battlefield 3: NA - 4v4 Squad Rush Ladder
Battlefield 3: NA - 6v6 Fast Attack Infantry Only Ladder
Battlefield 3: NA - 8v8 Rush Ladder

i have 4 good players now who said theyll chip in for match server ( need a match server ) have ts already and can use my webby for match organising.

i dont mind organising it as done it countless times before :p if people agree and are up for it ill get a match server tomorrow and sort league ladder stuff out . (do need who ever joining us to donate 5 quid towards server this is for 3 months use ) tell me on bl if you want to join asap guys. cheers .

Helicopters are easy prey for a tank using CITV / guided shell. With the chopper gunners cannon doing less damage to tanks its going to get even easier to take out choppers.

The change about flares now distracting laser guided rockets is a bit worrying, as it now means the chopper can counter the CITV / guided shell combo. But we'll wait and see how that pans out as they have balanced it against the flares no longer breaking lock. It will now just be a game of chicken with waiting for the flares to fire then firing your guided shell while he runs away into the distance :D

I can do a web site, that isn't a problem and tbh if we were taking it casual then there wouldn't need much effort to run it. With the number of people we have, there's three platoons on Battlelog full of 99 members for heavens sake, then games could be arranged and people could decide if they want to play or not.

I think you should have to be in a losing match for at least a minute say before you get the loss. Fed up joining games on the losing side for 10 seconds then game ending and having to add another loss to my stats.
 
Paying dollar isnt a problem mate I'll pay anything just be good to play some competitive games with players the same level I'm at work at the moment but 3 days off soon so get something sorted this weekend! U got me on BL so just msg me whenever!
