Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Well I SUCK at the Karkand maps - feel like a noob again. K/D ratio and accuracy beginning to plummet. They all feel much smaller than they did in BF2: combination of more buildings/clutter and no draw distance, I guess? It just seems there's stuff in the way all the time (especially on Oman and Sharqi) whereas they felt much more open in BF2. Maybe I just need to get used to them.

I was hoping to feel nostalgic firing up Oman, remembering the BF2 demo and staying up playing it all night, but it feels like a completely different map, the only similarity being the position of the spawns and outposts.

Still it's early days and I'll play them exclusively until I get better. Feels strange to say it, but I miss Caspian...
 
server for matches and tdm is now sorted. during week will be small tdm open to all .



bit of tweaking will be done for tomorrow as we need more beer :D

Having an issue on my 2nd pc, i installed the game and origin, i can get onto battlelog, pick a server and the joining game box comes up, when the bf3 taskbar icon pops up, it then just dissapears. This is a new copy of the game i bought yesterday.
 
Great fun on Matt's Dating server there, hopefully we can get a few more people hooked up by next week! :D

Just seen the battle report for that round: you know you're doing it right when you're top of the kills table and your best weapon was the C4. :D

Tags lol, on Dg's server tonight, i lost 5 sets in two rounds to the same player. Reminded me of the bc2 nights against neil79 and jimlad, we concentrated more on tags than shooting.:D
 
Just had an excellent game on playing with JGStoned, Trinsanity, Wisspa and a couple of others. We actually got some good squad movement going, was great fun, cheers guys :)
