Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Finally got into a game on my 6th attempt. Lancang Dam had the same sound issues. I rage quit because the boat kept taking me out the very second I respawned.

**** this game.
 
I have not played MP yet but played quite a bit of SP and not one crash. Game runs fine too unless I put on MSAA, then it drops down into 40's sometimes.
 
Those having crashes try turning off hardware acceleration in your browser if its not already - sorted the crashes on a friends PC - though they were playing with a ton of crap open in other tabs on their browser. (It shouldn't really fix it or be required but who knows).
 
the crashing is annoying - but despite it I'm much preferring the maps to BF3

a most settings at ultra, 2xAA @1200p and I'm at mid 50s on my 570 - impressed

No. It's not our issue, it's DICE's.
 
Still loving this game but dayum them server crashes are annoying. Lost 57 mins from and hour long 100% XP boost yesterday on 47-1 on Golmund Railway. THose who have played BF3 with me know I am a very relaxed guy, however after that I was about ready to throw my monitor out of the window.

Depends which crashes your talking about/getting. Friend of mine was getting dumped out the game with random DX errors and occasional driver timeout (CPU/GPU all stable to the best of my ability to test) and turning off hardware acceleration in his browser has 100% fixed it. He does have a ton of extra addons/plugins and random stuff in his browser though.

I've had one directx error. May give your fix ago.
 
ive enjoyed the single player also, its essentially just a shooting gallery with the enemy AI completely oblivious to your squadmates and all focused on you, but thats what you expect.

I also love the test range they have added, never got the hang of jets/helos but loving that i now have a place tp try them out :)

Also for you guys feeling the pain about the games launch (lookin at you fozzy), feel sorry for my mate.

So far in the last game launches he booked time off work for Diablo3 launch (LOL) simcity launch (LOL) and BF4 launch(LOL) from those 3 at least he was able to play BF4 some :D
 
Just got off the phone with Amazon with regards to a refund and they've basically said that as it's opened they won't issue a refund immediately until the developer has been given sufficient time to fix the issues (Around 1-2 weeks), after which they'll deal with it on an individual basis and as it's now Christmas returns period we have until the 25th of January to follow up a refund so more than sufficient time for Dice to sort their ****.
 
I have come on to vent my anger again. Had great game on Shanghai, after 3 failed attempts to take the tower we took it. The building shook which was our que to get off I jumped pulled my shoot and yes you guessed it CTD.
 
bleh, really don't like sp campaign's, think I'll let my daughter play it through for me :p

Domination servers seem to be the most stable for me, even 64-70 slot one's. Maps where levolution kicks in seem to ctd 99% of the time :(
