Well if anyone is using Win 8 + AMD card and is getting this memory leak then disable the Catalyst Control Center Launcher. Just did this on my friends system and it's fixed the issue.

Hmmmm, I don't have CCC installed, just the drivers only and other bits. Still get crashes although not as often as I was Could this be a crossfire issue? (2x 6970)

Gotta love those SRAW shots.

I've only just got earned my Igla, but ruining the chopper boys fun is fast becoming my favourite BF4 past time. Nothing beats the joy of "Squad Wipe".

I had crash after crash for the first couple of days. Then something changed and things have been virtually crash free since. The server may implode on 64 player rush from time to time, but I've not CTD from other reasons for several days.

depends what you mean by fixed are you cool headed enough to handle odd crash or do you rage like some on here at nothing?

game runs pretty decent now. ive tried it on win 7 and win8 win 8 is better. 8.1 is upto you no performance difference from 8.0-8.1.

Cant join any servers for the last few days.

Keep getting this:

Do I have to let punk buster throiugh the windows firewall?

Just noticed I dont have PB installed at all... or at least its not running nor in my services list.

Doing a manual update now.

Still getting kicked with the same error even after manual, install of pb.

Thing is even with a manual install I can see any pb services running or in my services list.

I can however see pba and pbb allowed through my windows firewall...

do a reboot , then go to pb in your bf4 folder check for pbsvc run it .

you could uninstall pb and delete all traces of it then install again incase something is messed up.

Anyone else getting really bad frame drops? I'm running at round 40fps avg? Thats not normal. Latest drivers, custome (not ultra) settings for max fps. Just seems really bad today.

Did the .NET update and I managed to get through 2 games without crashing (a first), either a coincidence or it worked. Now I just need a new computer and I'm good to go !

How do you do this? You mean end it in the processes?

u could just disable it from starting. use ccleaner to do it, makes it simpler

Aye, just go into task manager and you can disable it from starting in there.

I'm not a massive fan of the level I can cope with it when games use 400 ticket conquest/rush but if I'm on a server that uses 800 I will leave that map :/

Flood levels a pile of crap, far too many camping spots and high spots for snipers to hammer away with impunity. Your head literally has to be rotating 360 on that map.
