BB 9700 software update???

I have seen that the Vodafone approved firmware is slightly out of date on the above phone.

Has anybody updated it the latest version despite not being approved by VF??

Head over to Crackberry, there are leaked versions of the firmware available. I upgraded mine to 415, latest version is 423 I think, but heard it wasn't that good.

Cheers, I best research some of the other versions before updating. Clearly newest isn't always best.

You dont need to wait for Vodafone to come out with an official one...you can install any official OS ir leaked OS...all you have to do is make sure you delete the vendor.xml file and your good to go.

Head to crackberry for a step by step guide on how to properly install an OS.

Currently im running the official 423 and its perfect...no major issues with the build..before that i was running the 415 leaked version, which again was good build...no major issues.
