Grew up with Granstand, straight after the saturday morning cartoons. I miss the old Saturday morning cartoons

Not to sad about Grandstand as they show crap most of the time. Well i say crap i mean they don't show the sport i want to see.

Listen to the full version of the theme on the BBC media player, it has a crazy middle 8 at about 1:10 in that you don't normally hear on the box

Great tune though, you have have to love the big booooooiiing!

Its a shame, but Grandstand will be missed more because of the fact that it has been an institution rather than being much good over the last few years.

Snooker and motogp were the only good things . BBC axing this because they are to mean to shell vout for decent sport and we have to pay for them. I know what they can do , how about spending our mioney making some kind odf Police drama , we really need one of those !!
